At the risk of blowing our own trumpet, we are pleased to say we have been shortlisted for the Lighting Design Awards this year, for our work on the Medieval & Renaissance Galleries at the V&A. It’s a joint entry with Arups, who designed the daylighting system for the same spaces. Please follow the link to see the shortlist.
You may have noticed the change to our site. We have changed the news section to a blog, to allow us to post updates quickly and more simply. From idea to fully functioning blog took around an hour or two – thanks to our web wrangler, Neil at CDN Solutions.
Recently opened at the British Library is this exhibition charting the evolution of the language over the past 1000 years, with dramatic lighting by dha designs

We completed the lighting for this at the beginning of November, just in time for the opening parties to celebrate the opening of this new gallery at the Imperial War Museum that celebrates acts of remarkable bravery.

…one of our directors, Peter Fordham, gave a talk on facade lighting at Acetech 2010. He had a great time, thank you to the organisers, and we hear his talk went down very well too…
