Dickens and London opens at MoL

DHA Designs have just completed the lighting for this prestigious new exhibition at the Museum of London. Evoking the sights and sounds of Victorian London, the design uses a mixture of colour and projection, together with conservation grade exhibition lighting to celebrate Dickens’ bi-centennial.

Highlights include Dickens’ desk and chair, original hand-written manuscripts, as well as the original Newgate Prison doors!

The exhibition was designed and curated in house, and follows DHA’s work on London Street Photography in the same gallery earlier this year.

dha designs have recently completed the lighting to six galleries at Ashmolean Museum in Oxford. The new Egytian Galleries puts some of the museums most popular and valuable objects in a new setting as part of the ongoing redevelopment of this institution. Much of the lighting was done using Xicato LED light sources.
