Raising Money for Demelza Hospice Care For Children

The London Duathlon takes place on Sunday 15 September in Richmond Park. The ‘classic’ race consists of a 10km run, 40km bike ride and a 5km run. Peter has signed up for the challenge, along with a few Dads from his local area, and will be raising funds for a local children’s hospice in SE London and Kent called Demelza.

If you’d like to sponsor Peter, then the easiest method is through this website:

Remember to pay under Gift Aid, if you can. Every penny received via the mydonate website, including the gift aid money, is passed on to the charity.

Thanks so much!

Everyman Theatre, Liverpool – Lighting Tests

Earlier this month, we carried out a lighting test on a section of the new facade screen for the Everyman Theatre in Liverpool. Designed by Haworth Tompkins Architects, the screen consists of laser cut metal panels with photographic images of members of the public. The new building has over a hundred panels. Staff members will be able to rotate the panels from inside the theatre offices, depending on sun shading requirement. We tested a section of four panels, floodlit from above using a 1200mm linear LED wallwasher from our friends at Ecosense. With a 60 x 10 degree optic, the distribution was perfect. The new theatre will open in 2013.

We have two projects commissioning in London this week: the Tsui Gallery at the V&A Museum and Climate Science at the Science Museum…
