Permanent Galleries - Being Human
DHA worked with Assemble on the refurbishment of the permanent gallery at the Wellcome Collection.
The client wanted to expose the windows in the gallery which were hidden by the previous display. In order to retain the un-interupted view out of the windows, we undertook a daylight study and applied density film to reduce natural light levels to protecty the objects on display.
A new track and spot lighting system was designed and installed by DHA, finished in the same custom colour as the ceiling to help it seemlessly blend into the space.
