DHA have recently completed work on the British Museum’s latest exhibition – Tantra: enlightenment to revolution.
The show explores ‘the radical force that transformed the religious, cultural and political landscape of India and beyond’.
It is open from 24th September 2020 – 24th January 2021.
After lighting Ming: 50 Years that Changed China in the new 70m long Special Exhibitions Gallery, DHA Designs were delighted to be asked by the BM to light this autumn’s blockbuster exhibition. Designed by Real Studios, with graphics by the BM, DHA worked closely with the team and curators to light the hundreds of objects on display. These varied from tiny jewellery and coins to huge crosses and sculptures.
The exhibition received 5-stars from Jonathan Jones in The Guardian and tickets can be booked from the British Museum via their website here
dha designs have just completed British Museum’s landmark 2012 exhibition on the Hajj. The exhibition explains the history of this deeply personal journey, using textiles, manuscripts, historical and contemporary art. The exhibition is in the stunning Round Reading Room and is a thoughtful and beautiful evocation of this pillar of Islam.
The exhibition was described in The Guardian, in Jonathan Jones’ 5-star review, as “one of the most brilliant exhibitions the BM has put on”.
